To start preparing these banana and oat biscuits you will need the following ingredients:
➡️ 1 cup of oat flour
➡️ 1 banana
➡️ 3 tablespoons of cashew butter (or any plant-based butter)
➡️ 1 tablespoon of cinnamon (to taste)
Before starting with the steps to prepare this vegan sweet, from our organic tapas bar, as bakery specialists, we recommend that you choose a very ripe banana to bring sweetness to the biscuits, since this dessert has no sugar of any kind. And now, let's get down to business!
The first thing you will have to do is slice the banana and mash it in a bowl until it forms a compact dough. Then, add the butter that you have chosen and integrates everything well.
Then, add the rest of the ingredients, the oat flour and cinnamon to taste, and mix in again. You need to get a consistent mass, which is not sticky and is easy to shape. If you find that it sticks or you haven't achieved the right consistency, add a little more flour.
Once the dough is ready, the next step is roll it into balls and flatten them, so that they have a rounded shape. Place them on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper, and bake them at 180 degrees for 15 minutes, or until they are golden enough.
